The D7 class is aggressively triangular in shape, featuring multiple edges and angles. By contrast, the Enterprise is built of circles, straight lines and gently curved shapes. The profile of the D7 is low and flat where the Enterprise stood tall and majestic. The engines of the D7 hangs below its hull and are curled underneath, evoking the image of hands curling into fists just itching for a fight. The Enterprise holds it’s engines up, high and proud, slightly above it’s upper hull. The most unique feature of the D7 is its command center and long boom which thrusts out of its sharp, wing shaped hull – like a snake striking at prey.
